So the MTV Movie awards is a thing that happened last night. I won’t lie to you guys, I didn’t watch, I don’t think I’m the demographic for MTV anymore. But a nice side effect of these awards is a bunch of new trailers dropped. I’ve grouped them together here for you, because I’m a great guy.
First up, Suicide Squad:
A bit of a deeper look into this movie, possibly showing off some of the reshoots that they did to add in some humor.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2:
We’ve gone on record here at The Hollywood Picture News saying we didn’t hate the first Turtles movie and this one looks somehow better. This trailer features more April O’Neil and Bebop and Rocksteady.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them:
This movie had fallen a little under the radar for me to be honest but this trailer is really great. I love looking at the history of the world that Harry Potter created for us and to see that coupled with the American side is pretty neat. Color me optimistically intrigued for this one.
We also got a couple scenes/ first looks. The first being a clip from Captain America: Civil War
A great scene that shows us a little more of the new team of Avengers working together. We’re super pumped for this movie.

A great new clip featuring Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang geeking out over Captain America. I love this.
The next is a first look at Kong: Skull Island:
A good cast and an interesting take on the King Kong story, especially it being set during the Vietnam War. My interested is piqued.

I have so much love for Eddie Redmayne. I’m OVERLY excited for Fantastic Beasts.
I’m glad to see them going in a bit of a different direction, too. Of course there was a Dumbledore name drop, but it’s not like it’s the story of James Potter at Hogwarts. Plus it’ll be fun to see the US-side of this magical world.
